Here's a little bit about me.  I studied fine art in high school and college, but then as often happens, my life and career took me in a different direction. I spent decades in the "business" end of long-term post acute care as a financial consultant.  Not too artsy, right?  It was a very rewarding and fulfilling career, but I found myself a far cry away from my original plan of being a full-time creative.

Enter cancer and a worldwide pandemic.  2019 saw me in the fight of my life with a Stage III cancer battle.  I am blessed to say that I'm cancer free today, but it certainly did change my perspective on life.  ​I began to take online watercolor classes at the beginning of the pandemic and totally fell in love.  Not only did I appreciate the fluidity and beauty of this medium, but it reconnected me with my artistic self.  The rest, as they say, is history.

I'm inspired by vintage botanical artwork, Italian Renaissance painters, the midwest countryside, and the beautiful scenery of the Carolina coast.  I'm so glad  you're here.  I hope you find a little something to brighten your world, or to gift to someone special.  We gladly accept requests for commissioned work as well.
