Welcome John D Kocsis!
"My Painting, Constantly Evolving Images and Changing Concepts"
"The images that I create whether they be done in acrylics or transparent watercolor, represent a very personal vision and search for unique and new ways looking at the wonders of the natural world as well as at humanly conceived visual elements that fascinate my visual senses.
I start my work by incorporating the elements of line, form, color, texture with found objects and assembling them into combinations, using hard and soft edges, that are new and intuitive to me. The aggregate of all my work together, hopefully, reproduces what I am seeing in my minds eye and want to share.
I simplify, exaggerate, combine and modify the elements I am working with searching for serendipitous arrangements that I ultimately assemble into new visual images.
Inspiration for my work comes from my many life experiences, the students that I teach and have taught and my exposure to a host of other artists and the work they do that both fascinates, peaks my curiosity and intrigues me."
